| From Virginia, Washington, D.C., BWI Airport, and areas south of Baltimore: Take I-95 north toward Washington, D.C. At the I-495 (Capital Beltway), head north toward Silver Spring/Bethesda. From the Beltway (I-495), take Exit 34 which is Rt. 355 (Wisconsin Avenue/Rockville Pike) and head south toward Washington/Bethesda. At the second stop light, turn right onto Cedar Lane; drive approximately 1/4 mile and turn onto West Drive to the NIH campus. |
| OR Take I-95 north toward Washington, D.C. At I-495 (Capital Beltway), head north toward Silver spring/Bethesda. From the Beltway (I-495), take Exit 18 (Old Georgetown Road), heading south for about 2 miles. Turn left into the NIH campus at Center Drive. |
| From Baltimore and All Points North of Washington, D.C: Take I-95 south toward Washington, D.C. At I-495 (Capital Beltway, head west toward Silver Spring/Bethesda. From the Beltway (I-495), take Exit 34 which is Rt. 355 (Wisconsin Avenue/Rockville Pike) and head south toward Washington/Bethesda. At the second stop light, turn right onto Cedar Lane; drive approximately 1/4 mile and turn onto West Drive to enter the NIH campus. |

From the Beltway (I-495), take Exit 34 which is Rt. 355 (Wisconsin Avenue/Rockville Pike) and head south Washington/Bethesda. At the second stop light, turn right onto Cedar Lane; drive approximately 1/4 mile and turn onto West Drive to enter the NIH campus. |
| From MetroRail (Subway): Take the Red Line to the Medical Center Station which exits directly onto the NIH campus. Shuttle service from the Metro Station to the various NIH buildings is available. |
