Postdoctoral Training Opportunity
Inflammation Biology: Applications are sought for the position of postdoctoral fellow to work on inflammation biology. Applicants must have an M.D./Ph.D., D.V.M./Ph.D., or Ph.D with specialization in Pathology, Immunology, Cell Biology, or other relevant areas. Research experience or technical expertise in angiogenesis, cell culture (fibroblasts, endothelial cells, keratinocytes etc.), immunohistochemistry, image capture methods and analysis, in vitro and in vivo (rodents) methods of screening compounds, toxins and drug candidates that mediate or mitigate inflammation/cell proliferation and other hallmarks of wound healing and other similar conditions is highly desirable. A track record of recent publications in this or associated areas such as cancer biology is helpful. The ability to work independently and come up with original ideas is expected. Apart from this, helping with the manuscripts for publication on the project called AGEMAP to various journals is expected.
