Postdoctoral Training Opportunity
Chromatin-Remodeling and DNA Repair: The National Institute on Aging (NIA), a major research component of the National Institutes of Health (NIH) and the Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS), is recruiting for a postdoctoral fellow to work within the Intramural Research Program in the Transcription Remodeling and Regulation Section of the Laboratory of Genetics.
Research is focused on purification of multiprotein complexes and analysis of their structures and functions. Projects include studies of chromatin-remodeling mechanisms (Genes Dev.19:1662-7, 2005), DNA damage response, and human genomic instability diseases (Nat. Genet. 35:165-170, 2003) and (Nat. Candidates must have a Ph.D. (or M.D.) degree in molecular biology, biochemistry, or a related field, and less than 5 years of postdoctoral experience. Salary is commensurate with research experience, according to the NIH intramural pay scale.
