| Chromatin-Remodeling and DNA Repair: The National Institute on Aging (NIA), a major research component of the National Institutes of Health (NIH) and the Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS), is recruiting for a postdoctoral fellow to work within the Intramural Research Program in the Transcription Remodeling and Regulation Section of the Laboratory of Genetics. | |
| Research is focused on purification of multiprotein complexes and analysis of their structures and functions. Projects include studies of chromatin-remodeling mechanisms (Genes Dev.19:1662-7, 2005), DNA damage response, and human genomic instability diseases (Nat. Genet. 35:165-170, 2003) and (Nat. | Candidates must have a Ph.D. (or M.D.) degree in molecular biology, biochemistry, or a related field, and less than 5 years of postdoctoral experience. Salary is commensurate with research experience, according to the NIH intramural pay scale. | |
