| Lawrence David worked in the Developmental Genomics and Aging Section with mentors, Drs. Minoru Ko and Toshiyuki Yoshikawa. Lawrence will be returning to Columbia University School of Engineering in New York this fall. |

| Adaku I. Ibekwe will be a junior at Princeton University this fall. Adaku spent the summer working with mentors, Drs. Weidong Wang and Ruhikanta Meetei in the Transcription Remodeling and Regulation Unit. |

| Abhisake Kole, a 2002 graduate of Parkville High School, worked in the Gene Recovery and Analysis Unit with mentors, Dr. Ramaiah Nagaraja and Gustaaf deRidder. |
