Replies to comments by G. D. Andrianopoulos and G. F. Solomon on the article by A. B. Zonderman et al regarding the relationship between depression and cancer. The original samples did not allow typological analysis of the cancers, and although a combination of depression and other psychosocial factors is possible, alexithymia does not seem a good candidate.
